The magical town of Cachi located at the foot of the snowy mountain of the same name (6,320 meters above sea level) is characterized by its colonial-style facades, with houses set on the edge of narrow, cobblestone streets.

Leaving behind the fertile Lerma Valley, you climb the Quebrada de Escoipe and then continue along the imposing Cuesta del Obispo and Valle Encantado, surrounded by mountains. After Piedra del Molino (3,400 meters above sea level), you cross Los Cardones National Park.
